The Path of Return – is a hopeless, meandering walk towards an unknown yet somehow familiar place. However familiar the path may seem, it takes a steady heart to make the trek, and then, it takes a well-developed mind to see it with intelligence. Every step of the spiritual journey has meaning and purpose, not to be discounted for having mundane appearances.
I walked alone. The sun was slightly tilted on the horizon as the leaves continued to change from green to gold to red to purple. The most splendid displays in nature are during what might be called transitional times, almost as if to say, “Pardon the mess, but here’s something pretty to look at.”
In the hours that count the most, is the autumn or spring of one’s life of most value?
