Misery is the twin edge of enlightenment. Misery means forgetting what one has. Enlightenment means letting go of what one does not have. Both are true at particular stages of self-development.
Neither is very truthful in light of oneself in reality. Behind misery is the self. Behind enlightenment is the self. This is the adoption of the truth regardless of how one may feel today. Am I truly satisfied with all that I have accomplished?
Despite the present circumstances, I press onward. This means that, on some level, I've acknowledged suffering. On another level, I've remembered to remain faithful. Again, in either case, I am living. Living is the accomplishment of every being. Living is presence when identified rightly. Living is my life.
Tragedy happens on multiple levels. The physical is swept out from underneath one's feet. The emotions are betrayed. The mind is in anguish. None of these states of being are reality. Reality is beyond these states. Tragedy is an opportunity to experience oneself through a multitude of sins. The power of oneself is to remain observant.
Modalities are specific points in reality. No modality speaks to all that is, was, or ever will be. No one has the lock and key to reality unless one considers oneself because Oneself is reality.
