Innocence is a frame of reference. It means the opposite of guilt. It’s the nature of one’s being to have this quality of innocence. Innocence is a divine attribute:
Don’t worry about what you didn’t do. What is counted are your deeds, in your higher moments, as an illuminated being. What is done in ignorance is worked out in time, and God doesn’t pay any attention to that.
