Enlightenment is the beginning, not the end result of a meditation practice. It came to pass some eons ago that a world was formed and, on the world, God, in his infinite wisdom, planted humanity. The greatest of all mysteries is to discover what God had in Mind.
However, surfing the internet won’t answer that question. Still, it shows the complexity of the human mind – not always by man’s spiritual nature – yet diversified and plentiful in and of itself. It wasn’t until the Merry-Go-Round of all these thought forms came to pass that man realized: I need more RAM.
Enlightenment was an age not so long ago, and the printing press was invented. Soon after, literacy went up as households began collecting reading materials. Growing up, in my house, it was the Reader’s Digest and the National Geographic.
Knowing the Self to the point of Liberation from the three planes of man: physical, emotional, and mental; simply means to me the development of one’s infinite creative potential for the good of all of existence, whereby Enlightenment is the beginning, not the result of a meditation practice.
