Anger to Awareness: Journey of a Psychic Medium

As a psychic medium, I’m often asked if I ever experience anger. The assumption seems to be that connecting to the ethereal and communicating with Spirit should elevate me above such emotions. But the answer, of course, is a resounding yes. Anger, as much as love or joy, is part of the human experience.

There are moments when anger burns in my belly—a fire so fierce I sometimes wonder if it could melt away my belly fat. Perhaps my body’s heaviness isn’t just flesh but the weight of unspoken awareness and stories I’ve yet to fully tell.

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on this anger as I navigate thoughts of protection and healing. The inauguration, for instance, brought up a whirlwind of emotions—from the ache of healing the abusive father wound to the primal instinct to protect my uterus and sexual freedom. These emotions, though seemingly disparate, are deeply connected. Both reflect a need to let go of the past while becoming aware of what is most vulnerable and sacred in the present.

Finding Unity in Spiritual Truths

In the midst of this emotional turbulence, I stumbled upon a moment of clarity that felt like a gift from Spirit. This may sound daft, but did you know that the “Christ Consciousness” and “Buddhic Consciousness” are two sides of the same coin? For years, I’ve struggled to explain this connection—how to bridge the language of the West and the East in a way that feels authentic and true. And then, while reading, I came across this simple, elegant line: “This is the Christ consciousness in Christian phraseology, the Buddhic consciousness in the Eastern terminology.”

It hit me like a brick over the head, dissolving the tension I’d carried for so long. I had been searching for the perfect metaphor, as if the truth itself would elude me if I didn’t express it just right. But here it was, simple and whole, reminding me that these two paths, though expressed differently, lead to the same eternal truth. This realization wasn’t just about words; it was about a deeper understanding of unity. I wasn’t building a bridge between them—I was standing on it all along.

An Exploration of the Planes of Consciousness

This realization mirrors the interconnectedness of the planes of existence that I often reflect on in my practice. These planes are not merely abstract ideas but pathways of awareness, each offering their own lessons and gifts. They remind me that the human experience is a reflection of something far greater.

Consider the seven planes of consciousness as a framework for understanding this unity:

  • Logoic Plane (Sea of Fire): Representing divine will and synthesis.

  • Monadic Plane (Akasha): Reflecting divine love-wisdom, the universal sound that connects us all.

  • Atmic Plane (AEther): Where vibratory response and active intelligence are born.

  • Buddhic Plane (Air): The plane of union, harmony, and at-one-ment.

  • Mental Plane (Fire): The realm of human will and discrimination.

  • Astral Plane (Astral Light): Where human love and desire take form.

  • Physical Plane (Ether): The physical world, the culmination of all reflections.

The mental, astral (emotional), and physical planes form what can be understood as the vehicle of the personality or past self. This is the automaton I’ve spoken of before: a construct that doesn’t know itself yet serves as the sacred temple for the indwelling spirit.

Each of these planes has its own unique vibration and corresponding sense, forming the ladder we climb toward spiritual awakening. While the personality may not always be aware of its own divinity, it is nonetheless a vessel for our spiritual journey. It is through this interplay of mind, emotion, and physicality that the personality, like a finely tuned instrument, resonates with the vibrations of higher planes.

At the center of this system lies the Christ or Buddhic consciousness—the place where divinity and humanity meet, where unity becomes tangible. It is here that the automaton transforms into a living temple, imbued with purpose and potential, awakened to its true nature.

By exploring and understanding these planes, we begin to see the interconnectedness of our existence. The path upward is not about escaping the physical but embracing it as a reflection of something divine, a sacred vehicle through which consciousness evolves and unites.

Moving from Anger to Transformation

Anger, like any emotion, is a vibration. When I feel it rise within me, I try to honor it without letting it consume me. I ask myself: What is this fire trying to transform? Sometimes, it’s the unhealed father wound. Sometimes, it’s the collective pain of womanhood. Sometimes, it’s simply the weight of being human in a world that often forgets its divine nature.

But within that fire is also the power to create. When I meditate on the akasha, the primordial substance of sound, I’m reminded of the Word that brings all things into being. The breath of Spirit stirs the vibration of creation, and through that vibration, form emerges. It’s a reminder that even anger, when channeled wisely, can be a creative force.

The Voice of Silence

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in my practice is the importance of listening to the Voice of Silence—the voice of the inner Christ, the still small voice that speaks not in words but in knowing. To hear this voice, I must quiet the clamor of earthly sounds, the chatter of desires and fears. Only then can I hear the AUM (The Father), the sacred sound that connects me to the divine.

The inauguration, the anger, the healing—all of it is part of this journey toward unity and understanding. By embracing these experiences, I’m learning to step into the fullness of my spiritual and human self. And in that fullness, I find the courage to protect, the strength to heal, and the clarity to awaken.

Reflection

What emotions are burning in your belly? What parts of yourself feel sacred and in need of protection? Take a moment to sit with these feelings. Listen to the silence within and allow the fire of transformation to guide you toward deeper truth.
